The day Travis Kelce and his brother broke the oven and shattered their mom's casserole

During an appearance on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers Wednesday, Travis Kelce, tight end for the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, shared his thoughts about that victory and related an epic fight he had with his brother when they were in high school.

According to Kelce, the fight began during a backyard basketball game when he was a freshman and brother Jason, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, was a junior. After roughhousing in the yard, they took their fight into the kitchen.

After Jason Kelce punched his brother in the face, Travis took it a step further.

"I picked him up and body slammed him on the kitchen floor and the oven, which had my mother's casserole in it and it breaks off its hinges and the casserole shatters in the oven," Kelce said.

"And yeah, my mom wasn't happy about that."
