Freitas started all 17 games for the Roughriders. He set many new records nationally as he was 1st in game-winning goals with 12, 3rd in goals scored 27, 5th in points with 56, and 8th in shots with 79.
Santos has a 3.4 gpa and started 15 of 17 matches for the Roughriders. Criteria to be eligible for the Scholar All-America is to have at least a 3.30 cumulative gpa, start more than 50 percent of all games, and be a sophomore in academic standing.

“Both of these players are deserving of these awards. They have been our leaders for the past two years and have worked hard both on the field and in the classroom. It is very satisfying when deserving players are rewarded and recognized for their efforts,” stated Coach Brad Smith

Crowder College’s Soccer program began in 2008 as an NJCAA Division I sport. This year’s season marked the most wins along with several record breaking statistics.
