The St. Louis Cardinals have a long list of good relievers on the roster, but with Jordan Hicks not available at the first of the season and Carlos Martinez appearing certain to move back into the starting rotation, it is not clear who the ninth inning man will be.
Among the candidates- Giovanny Gallegos, John Gant, Andrew Miller and a few others, including those who don't make the starting rotation.
