EMPORIA, Kan-Due to field conditions and low forecasted highs, the Emporia State Softball Classic that was scheduled to take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, has been altered.
Missouri Southern was originally scheduled to open the tournament in Friday and play six games over the three days. Now, Southern will play just five games starting on Saturday.
The Lions will now play Concordia-St. Paul, MSU-Mankato, Duluth, University of Sioux Falls and Wayne State.
