The Missouri Southern men's and women's cross country teams will be in action tomorrow morning as the Lions will compete in the 30th Annual Chili Pepper Invite hosted by the University of Arkansas.
The Southern men come into the meet ranked 13th nationally in Division II, up seven spots from last week after the Lions performance at the Southern Stampede. Southern finished second overall as a team last week at the Stampede, while freshman Gidieon Kimutai was second individually. The Lions are also ranked second in the Central Region, behind only Augustana.
The Southern women are ranked tenth in the Central Region after last week's performance at the Southern Stampede. The Lions, as a team finished ninth, while Ashlee Kuykendall was tenth individually.
The men will open up the race at 9:30 am, while the women will run at 10:20 am.
