MSSU men's golf places 14th at The Mule

Warrensburg, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern men's golf team shot a final-round 303 and placed 14th overall as the Lions competed in The Mule, hosted by Central Missouri at Mule National Golf Club.

The Lions were paced by Jeremy Dunham as he finished tied for 24th, shooting a three-round 215 after a final-round 74 today. Tristan Haltom shot a 76 over the final 18 and placed tied for 39th with a 219 overall.

Logan Greer shot a 76 today and finished at 222, tied for 60th, while Adam Vining shot a 78 and placed tied for 71st at 226. Jon Lenz shot a final-round 77 to finish tied for 97th.



Washburn had a stellar final-round, shooting even-par as a team and winning the tournament by one stroke over Central Missouri. Central Missouri's B team was third, followed by Henderson State, Lindenwood, Northeastern State, Harding, Central Oklahoma, Southwestern Oklahoma and Missouri Western to round out the top ten.

Drury was 11th, followed by Minnesota State, Newman, Southern, Augustana, Lincoln, Upper Iowa and Fort Hays to round out the team scores.

The Lions will be back in action on September 17-18 as they take part in the NSU Fall Classic at Muskogee CC.
