The Missouri Southern men's golf team will play host to the 2018 MSSU Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at Shangri-La Country Club in Monkey Island, Okla.
The Lions will play 36 holes on Monday with a final 18 holes on Tuesday. Round one will start at 8:30 am with a shotgun start, while round two begins around 2:30 pm with another shotgun start.
Southern will be joined by Sioux Falls, Harding, Fort Hays State, Newman, Southern Arkansas, Southeastern Oklahoma, Southern Nazarene, Oklahoma Christian, Southwest Baptist, Hutchinson CC and St. Mary's (Texas).
The travel squad for the Lions will include Tristan Haltom, Jeremy Dunham, Adam Vining, Taylor Haltom and Tripper Jensen. Jackson Von Behren, Logan Greer, Jon Lenz, Grant Sikes and AJ Musche will all compete as individuals for the Lions.
Tristan Haltom and Dunham are neck-and-neck for the team low average this year with Haltom at 71.5 and Dunham sporting a 71.7 round average. Greer and Vining are at 74.3 and 74.7, while Taylor Haltom is at 75.7. Lenz is at 82, while the rest of the travelers have not yet scored a round for the Lions.
