Southern women's golf places 16th at UCO Fall Classic

Edmond, Okla. -- The Missouri Southern women's golf team placed 16th today in the final standings at the 2018 UCO Fall Classic hosted by Central Oklahoma at The Golf Club of Edmond.

Allison Cunningham shot a second-round 83, one stroke better than day one and finished at 167 total for the tournament, tied for 62nd. Kylie Carnes shot a 169 and was tied for 64th, while Maggie Moore shot a 179 over the two days, finishing 77th.

Kaitlyn Gilliland shot a two-day total of 184, while Elizabeth Poe had a 195.



Arkansas Tech won the event with a two-day total of 594, two strokes in front of Northeastern State. Southwestern Oklahoma was third, followed by Rogers State, Central Oklahoma, Henderson State, Cameron, Fort Hays State, Oklahoma Baptist, Harding, Southern Nazarene, Drury, Southern Arkansas, Redlands CC, Arkansas-Monticello, MSSU, and Southwest Baptist to round out the team totals.

The Lions will be back in action on October 15 and 16, traveling to the Northeastern State Regional Preview.
