MSSU women's golf tied for 18th after day one of Northeastern State Regional Preview

Muskogee, Okla. -- The Missouri Southern women's golf team finished in 18th today after day one at the Northeastern State Regional Preview hosted at Muskogee Country Club.

Kylie Carnes shot an 81 and is tied for 50th, while Maggie Moore shot an 86 and is tied for 79th. Kaitlyn Gilliland shot an 89, while Elizabeth Poe shot a 100. Allison Cunningham did not play due to injury.



Northeastern State leads the day after round one with a 298 and is followed closely by Central Missouri at a 301 and Southwestern Oklahoma at 301. Lindenwood is fourth, followed by Henderson State, Northwest Missouri, Nebraska-Kearney, Central Oklahoma, Minnesota State, Oklahoma Baptist, Concordia - St. Paul, Missouri Western, Southern Nazarene, Fort Hays State, Southern Arkansas, Harding, Northwestern Oklahoma and the Lions to round out the team scores.

Tomorrow's final round of 18 is slated to begin at 9 am.
