(From MSSU Lions Athletic News)

The Missouri Southern women's soccer team continues its five-match home stretch tomorrow versus Fort Hays State at 6:00 pm and then prepares for the designated Pink game with Nebraska-Kearney on Sunday at 1:00 pm as we recognize breast cancer awareness month.

The Lions (7-5-2, 3-3-1 MIAA) stand in a tie for sixth with Lindenwood and are just a half game back of Fort Hays and Emporia State who are tied for fourth in the MIAA standings.

MSSU began last weekend with a 2-0 victory over Northwest Missouri State after freshman forward Bailey Belcher scored both goals. Junior goalkeeper Luz Galindo allowed only one goal combined as the Lions dropped the second match to Missouri Western by a final score of 1-0 in a tough 90-minute defensive battle.
