Once again, local television viewers will have the chance to see all MSSU men’s and women’s home conference basketball games live this season on KGCS-TV. The station’s coverage begins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, when the Lions host the women and men from Pittsburg State University.
“This is great hands-on experience for all of our students, as they work on everything from announcing the games to running cameras and directing behind the scenes,” said Judy Stiles, KGCS General Manager.

“We know that many fans who are unable to attend enjoy watching the games, and we appreciate the MIAA for allowing us to provide the coverage.”
Games can be seen over the air on channel 21 and on regional cable systems carrying KGCS (Sparklight, Mediacom and Suddenlink Communications). Games will also be streamed through the MIAA Network. Fans can access the link through the MSSU Athletics website.
KGCS-TV operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
