On Saturday, May 13th the Joplin Table Tennis Club will be hosting the 2017 Spring Table Tennis Championship at Memorial Hall, 8th Street and Wall Ave in Joplin, Missouri. The tournament is open to spectators and begins at 8:30 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. there will be a spectacular showdown of an exhibition match between the Joplin Police Department team and the Joplin Fire Department team.
Players will be from the four states-Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Participants will be playing on 10 Tournament Grade tables (8 Cornilleau 740’s and 2 Stiga’s) in a facility that allows excellent viewing regardless of what table you are watching. So, sign up early to reserve your spot. Have some fun, play some Pong and win some of the $600 prize money that will be give out.
