Rolla, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern men's track and field picked up five event wins Sunday at the Dewey Allgood Invitational hosted by Missouri S&T.
Keson Payton started things off with a win in the 100m, crossing in a time of 10.74. Jordyn Manier was second, with Dausen Gourley placing fifth and Brendan Watkins finishing ninth.
Manier won the long jump in a provisional distance of 24-02.25, while Chance Johnson and Watkins placed seventh and eighth, respectively. Kennan Harrison won the triple jump in a provisional distance of 48 feet, while Watkins was fifth.
Cody Vogt won the high jump in a provisional height of 6-08.00, while Kyle Parr and Johnson placed seventh and eighth. Matt Willis won the 400m hurdles in a time of 53.65, while placing third in the 110m hurdles. Parr was 12th in the 110m hurdles.
Thomas Hawkins and Payton placed fourth and fifth in the 200m dash, while Hawkins was fourth in the 400m. Victor Encarnacion placed eighth in the 800m while Ryan Drendel was 13th in the 1500m.
Josh Webb and James Tupper placed second and eighth in the 3k, while Junior Joseph was second in the hammer and Garrrett Austin was fourth in the javelin.
The Lions will be in action next Friday as Southern plays host to the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational inside Fred G. Hughes Stadium.
