Weather causes schedule change for Crowder College baseball Autistic Awareness Game

DUE TO WEATHER THE GAME HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY MOVED TO SUNDAY, MARCH 31, SAME TIME.

Also, Crowder College will be running the JUCO World Series Snapchat page this weekend. It is JUCOWS on Snapchat.

Silent auction of the jerseys will still take place. Spectators may purchase a jersey during the weekend event.

Neosho, MO – The Crowder College Roughrider Baseball team will host the Autism Awareness Month Kickoff game Saturday, March 30, prior to the game starting at 1pm at Roughrider field on the Neosho campus.

The children will take the field at approximately 12:50pm with the team as Wyatt Register will toss the first pitch. Wyatt is 7 years old and attends first grade in the Neosho School District, LINC (Learning Initiative Neosho Schools Crowder College) partnership.

Students and their families from the Maddox Hill Behavior Support Center at Crowder College are invited to attend free of charge.

The baseball team will wear special jerseys in honor of autism awareness month. Coach Lallemand wanted to do something to recognize autism awareness month last season with this being the 3rd annual event. Employees of the Maddox Hill Center will be on hand to assist their students and families as they take the field.

Admission collected at the gate will be donated to the Maddox Hill Center from the baseball program. A Food Truck with concessions will be available at the game for purchase.
