MSSU golf tied for seventh after first day of Arkansas Collegiate

El Dorado, Ark. -- The Missouri Southern men's golf team is in a tie for seventh place after day one of the Arkansas Collegiate at Mystic Cree Golf Club in El Dorado, Arkansas.

Southern shot a day-one, 18-hole total of 330 as course conditions led to high scores throughout.

Taylor Haltom led the way for the Lions with a 79, tied for 12th individually. Tristan Haltom and Adam Vining shot an 83, while Alec Dominc shot an 85. Jeremy Dunham had an 86.








Southern Arkansas leads the team scores with a 302 and is followed by Henderson State at 311. Arkansas Tech is third, followed by Southeastern Oklahoma, Southern Nazarene, Harding, the Lions and Missouri S&T.

The Lions will shot a final-round 18 tomorrow as Southern will tee off at 9 am.
