MSSU throwers perform well at LaQuinta Inns ESU Spring Twllight

The Missouri Southern men's track and field team sent a group of throwers today as the Lions competed at the 2019 LaQuinta Inns ESU Spring Twilight.

Rajheim Carby was one of two Lions to pick up NCAA Provisional Qualifying Marks as he and Travis Petersen (hammer) hit provisional marks.

Carby finished second in the javelin with a provisional mark of 63.13m, while Petersen was third in the hammer with a distance of 59.00m. Josh Fulmer (54.18m) was sixth, while Trace Henault (47.26m) was 11th in the hammer.








Rajindra Campbell was tenth in the discus with a distance of 48.85m, while Fulmer was 18th with a distance of 43.32m.

The Lions finished 14th in the team scoring with 17 points.

The Lions will be in action next weekend with events at Washington University and Emporia State.
