The MIAA baseball series between the 19th-ranked Missouri Southern baseball team and Fort Hays State has been moved from Hays, Kansas to Joplin for this weekend due to unplayable field conditions.
Originally scheduled to play this Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Hays, the Lions and Tigers will now play on the turf at Warren Turner Field. Game times will be 3 pm on Friday, 1 pm on Saturday and noon on Sunday.
The Lions will be the away team as far as batting and on the scoreboard in each of the games.
Southern is 15-5 on the season and 7-2 in the MIAA, tied for first-place in the league standings. The Tigers are 2-15 and 2-7 in league standings.
