Missouri Southern senior reliever Bradly Hershey has been named the MIAA Co-Pitcher of the Week the league announced today.
Hershey, a native of Coffeyville, Kan., helped the Lions to a 4-0 week, including a series-sweep of Washburn and a mid-week win over Missouri S&T.
Hershey finished the week with four appearances where he went 2-0 in seven innings, striking out six and allowing zero earned runs.
He picked up two wins in relief in the series with Washburn, holding the Ichabods scoreless, while the Lions were able to come-from-behind in two of the three games to score a series sweep.
Hershey and the Lions will be back in action tomorrow afternoon as Southern plays host to Drury at 3 pm on Warren Turner Field.
