MSSU women's golf finishes 12th in Oklahoma tournament

Owasso, Okla. -- The Missouri Southern women's golf team finished 12th today after the final round of the 2019 Rogers State Hillcat Classic, hosted at Bailey's Ranch Golf Club.

Kylie Carnes led the way for the Lions as she finished tied for 35th with a two-round total of 173. Maggie Moore was 54th, shooting a 196, while Elizabeth Poe finished 57th at 207. Taylor Boyett was 59th with a 243.








Oklahoma Christian won the team title with a two-day team total of 613. Newman was second, followed by Rogers State, Arkansas-Fort Smith, Texas A&M Commerce, Angelo State, Lubbock Christian, Christian Brothers, Texas A&M International, Texas Permian Basin, Fort Lewis and the Lions.

The Lions will be back in action next week, competing in the Natural States Classic hosted by Harding University at Red Apple Country Club in Heber Springs, Ark.
