The Missouri Southern Athletic Department announced promotions for the 2019 baseball and softball seasons. The promotional schedule features fan giveaways, ticket discounts, pet promotions, and opportunities for fans of all ages to enjoy.
Wednesday, March 20th - Bark at the Park (Softball)
All fans with dogs are invited to bring them to Missouri Southern's Bark at the Park. We will have dog treats for the dogs and a dog costume contest for a prize at the game. The Lions will be hosting the Jennies of Central Missouri at 2 pm.
Saturday, April 6th - Bark at the Park (Baseball)
All fans with dogs are invited to bring them to Missouri Southern's Bark at the Park. We will have dog treats for the dogs and a dog costume contest for prizes at the game. This year's Bark at the Park is sponsored by Champions Feed Pet and More Store. The Lions will be hosting the Mules of Central Missouri at 1 pm.
Saturday, April 13th - Pink Game (Softball)
Softball will host their annual Pink Game in order to bring awareness to those fighting breast cancer. The team will wear pink uniforms and have Hope 4 You on hand to give information to fans about what is going on in the local area. All those fighting breast cancer and breast cancer survivors will be admitted for free! The Lions will take on Northwest Missouri State at 12 pm and 2 pm.
Friday, April 19th - Joe Becker Stadium Game (Baseball)
Baseball will play a special one game event at Joe Becker Stadium on Friday, April 19th against Northeastern State at 6 pm. The night will feature free baseball t-shirts to the first 500 fans and a post-game fireworks show! It will also be our Pink Night. We will be selling pink t-shirts for $10 with all proceeds going to Hope 4 You. Any person currently fighting cancer or is a cancer survivor will be admitted to the game for free by indicating it at the entrance. Tickets for the game are $7 and kids 12 and under are free.
Tuesday, April 23rd - Staff Appreciation Day (Softball)
Join us on Tuesday, April 23rd for our Staff Appreciation Day. All faculty and staff of Missouri Southern State University are invited to join us as the Lions take on Rogers State University at 2 pm and 4 pm. All staff and faculty will receive a voucher for a free soda and popcorn at the game.
Friday, April 26th - Military Appreciation
Baseball will host a military appreciation game with all current or former military members being admitted for free. This night will also serve as our 110% Club donors baseball event for our Lionbackers on the Baseball Party Deck. The Lions will take on the Gorillas of Pittsburg State at 6 pm.
Tickets for home baseball and softball games are $5 and kids 12 and under are admitted for free!
