Owasso, Okla. -- The Missouri Southern men's golf team finished ninth after the final day of the 2019 Rogers State Hillcat Classic hosted at Bailey's Ranch Golf Club in Owasso.
Taylor Haltom led the way for the Lions with a three-round total of 224, finishing tied for 13th individually.
Jeremy Dunham and Logan Greer each finished tied for 33rd, with a two-day total of 232, while Adam Vining was 43rd at 236 and Grant Sikes finished 44th at 238.
Rogers State won the team title with a score of 879. Lubbock Christian was second, just two shots off the lead, while Texas A&M International finished third. St. Edward's was fourth, followed by Arkansas-Fort Smith, Texas A&M Commerce, Texas-Permian Basin, Christian Brothers, the Lions, Fort Lewis and Fort Hays to round out the team scores.
The Lions will be back in action next week competing in the Big Texan hosted by Incarnate Word University at the Club at Comanche Trace in Comanche, Texas.
