The Missouri Southern women's golf team will be in action Tuesday and Wednesday as the Lions will participate in the MIAA Fall Preview hosted by Nebraska-Kearney at Awari Dunes CC.
The Lions finished 10th at Northeastern State in their first tournament of the season. Kylie Carnes and Maggie Moore both shot a two-day total of 156 at NSU. Carnes shot a 73 in day one and an 83 in day two, while Moore improved six strokes from day one to day two (81-75).
The Lions will bring Carnes and Moore, as well as Hannah Torres, Kenzie Kirkhart and McKayla Hussey to compete in the event. The teams will play 18 holes each day.
Southern will stay on the road and will head straight to Sioux Falls, SD after this tournament to compete in the Augustana Fall Invitational.
