Sioux Falls, SD -- The Missouri Southern women's golf team is in sixth place after day one of the Augustana Fall Invite held at Elmwod Golf Course.
The Lions are led by Kylie Carnes who is tied for 18th after a round one 81. McKayla Hussey is tied for 29th with an 85, while Maggie Moore and Hannah Torres are tied for 36th with an 87. Kenzie Kirkhart is tied for 52nd after a 94.
The Lions shot a first-round 340, while Augustana leads the field with a 312. Sioux Falls is second, followed by Northwest Missouri, Southwest Minnesota, Minot State, the Lions, South Dakota Mines, Black Hills State, Minnesota St. - Moorhead and Minnesota-Crookston to round out the team scores.
Southern will play a final round of 18 tomorrow morning.
