MSSU soccer to play Northwest Missouri, Missouri Western this weekend

The Missouri Southern women's soccer team returns home to close out non-conference action versus Northwest Missouri State at 7:00 pm tomorrow night prior to a rematch with Missouri Western on Sunday at 1:00 to kick off MIAA play.

The Lions (1-5-0) celebrate Alumni weekend with two matches which includes a chance to avenge a 1-0 loss to the MWSU Griffons last Friday night.

Freshman Brianna Marquez scored the first goal of her college career last weekend against No. 8 Central Missouri to tie fellow freshman Ashton Manwill with one apiece. Sophomore Bailey Belcher remains the leader in the scoring category with two goals through six matches.
