I suppose those who have fond memories of Whitey Herzog's running St. Louis Cardinals of the 1980s will appreciate the return of the powder blue uniforms that the Redbirds will wear during road games in 2019, but most of Cardinal Nation was hoping the big announcement teased by the Cardinals was going to be a big trade or the signing of a free agent.
