Missouri Southern senior defensive lineman Trevor Plafcan has been named a Google Cloud Academic All-District selection as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) recently.
Plafcan, a 6-1 senior from Odessa, Mo., has been an MIAA Academic Honor Roll selection three times in his career as he caries a 3.63 GPA in Marketing Management at Missouri Southern.
Plafcan started in 40 games in his MSSU career and this season he had 31 tackles, including six for a loss and one sack. He also added an interception, seven quarterback hurries and one fumble recovery.
Plafcan's name will now go on the national ballot for Academic All-America.
