The Joplin Table Tennis Club is hosting its 10th USATT Sanctioned Tournament on Friday and Saturday, October 18 and 19 at Joplin Memorial Hall.
With previous successful tournaments, the club is offering prizes totaling $1,300, along with award medals to each winner of six different events. Tournament organizers are expecting participants and crowd members from Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, and other nearby states.
The club has also invited Joplin City Council and City Staff, including the Joplin Police Department to compete in City Challenge Championship from 9:30 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 19. Details are still being finalized.

Admission is free of charge to spectators. The funds raised in this tournament will be used to replace worn out equipment and supplies.
