MSSU Coach Jeff Boschee to be inducted into North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame

Missouri Southern head men's basketball coach Jeff Boschee will be inducted as part of the 2020 North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame, the organization has announced.

The ceremony will take place on June 13, 2020 and Boschee will go in with Whitney Carlson Bruins and Doug Beaudoin, and Mike Peluso. Peluso will also receive the Cliff Cushman Award. The event will begin at 5 pm. Tickets are $35 and can be obtained by calling the Hall of Fame at 701-252-4835.

Boschee is in his sixth season as the head coach at Southern and is a native of Valley City, ND. He was an All-American at Valley City High School and participated in the McDonald's All-American Game before going on to be a four-year starter at Kansas where he was the Big 12 Freshman of the Year. He was an All-Big 12 selection his senior season and helped the Jayhawks to a Final Four Appearance.








Boschee finished his career as the career leader in three pointers (338) at KU and held the Big 12 record when he graduated. After graduation, Boschee went on to play professionally in the USBL, the ABA and in Europe.

He won his 100th game this season at Southern and currently sits at 101-53 and was the quickest Missouri Southern coach to reach 100 career wins. Boschee was the MIAA Coach of the Year in 2017-18. Boschee previously served as an assistant coach for the Lions under Hall of Fame coach Robert Corn.
