MSSU women's golf second after day one of Tabor College Invite

Newton, Kan. -- The Missouri Southern women's golf team is second after day one of the Tabor College Invite held at Sand Creek Station Golf Course.

The Lions shot a 334 on day one and are two strokes out of the leader Bethany.

Lawrence Tech is in third, followed by Friends and Tabor to round out the team scores.








Maggie Moore is tied for third after a round one 82. Kylie Carnes and Hannah Torres are tied for fifth with an 83 each, while Kenzie Kirkhart shot an 86 to finish tied for 9th. McKayla Hussey is in 21st after a 100.

The Lions will finish up the tournament tomorrow with 18 holes in the morning.
