The Missouri Southern men's and women's track and field teams will be in action at multiple locations this weekend capping off the second-to-last weekend before the MIAA Championships.
The No. 3 ranked women and No. 12 ranked men will be sending distance runners to the KU Relays, throwers to Central Missouri and sprints and jumps to the Missouri S&T Dewey Allgood Invitational.
Distance runners will start things for the Lions at the KU Relays, with Southern having action in the 1,500m, the 3k steeplechase, and both the 5k and 10k. Action in Lawrence starts at 5:40 pm on Thursday night.
The throwers will be in action on Friday afternoon and evening at Central Missouri. The Lions will start action at UCM at 1 pm and conclude sometime after 7 pm. Southern will conclude action this weekend with sprinters and jumpers at Missouri S&T on Saturday. Action in Rolla starts with field events at 11 am and field events at 1 pm.
