Bolivar, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern men's golf team finished tied for seventh after the final day of the 2019 SBU Invitational at Silo Ridge Country Club in Bolivar.
The Lions shot a 300 on the final day, led by a 71 from Jeremy Dunham who finished tied for sixth with a three-round total of 222. Southern shot a 910 as a team.
Taylor Haltom finished tied for 14th with a three-round total of 226, while Tristan Haltom finished tied for 32nd at 231. Tripper Jensen was tied for 48th at 235, while Logan Greer shot a 236 to finish tied for 56th.
Central Oklahoma won the team title with a total of 892, four strokes in front of Central Missouri and Missouri Western. Lindenwood was fourth, followed by Concordia-St. Paul, Central Missouri's B team, Southern, Washburn, Northeastern State, UT-Tyler, Minnesota State, William Woods, Southwest Baptist, Bemidji State, Fort Hays State and Lincoln to round out the team scores.
Southern will be back in action next week as the Lions play host to the 2019 MIAA Golf Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday at Shanrgi-La Country Club in Monkey Island, Okla.
