Neosho, MO - The NJCAA #14 ranked Crowder Roughrider Baseball team hosted its 3rd Annual Autism Awareness game March 31st. Proceeds from gate admissions and silent auction jersey sales are being presented to the Maddox Hill Behavior Support Center at Crowder College.
The Maddox Hill Center at Crowder College was created in the fall of 2014 to serve children with autism, developmental disabilities and behavior challenges in Neosho School District through the LINC (Learning Initiative Neosho Schools & Crowder College), among other school districts in the region.
It is the Maddox Hill Center’s mission to provide the most effective, evidenced based interventions to foster the greatest growth in their children.
The baseball team has been a huge supporter by allowing the children and their families to attend and participate in pre-game activities. This year 7-year old Wyatt Register tossed the first pitch with a group of students and staff cheering him on.
On behalf of Coach Lallemand, the coaching staff and the team, the Roughrider Baseball program is pleased to present the Maddox Hill Behavior Support Center with an $800 donation to continue their efforts.
