Bolivar, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern men's golf team is in a tie for 7th place after day one of the Southwest Baptist Invite hosted at Silo Ridge Country Club.
The Lions are led by Jeremy Dunham after day one as he shot a second-round 73 to post a 151 over the first 36 holes and finish the day tied for 15th. Taylor Haltom shot a 152 and is in a tie for 22nd, while Tristan Haltom is at 153 and tied for 25th. Tripper Jensen shot a 156 and is tied for 45th, while Logan Greer is at 159, tied for 60th.
The Lions shot a 305 in both rounds and sit in a tie for 7th place. Central Missouri is at 592, followed by second-place Missouri Western at 597. Central Oklahoma is in third, followed by Lindenwood, Central Missouri's B team, Washburn, the Lions, Concordia St.-Paul, Minnesota State, Northeastern State, UT-Tyler, Southwest Baptist, William Woods, Bemidji State, Fort Hays State and Lincoln to round out the team scores.
The Lions will play a final 18 holes starting tomorrow morning.
