The Missouri Southern softball team will host a doubleheader against Wayne State College and the University of Sioux Falls (S.D.) on the tail half of this weekend due to the cancellation of the Emporia State 5-State Classic.
A winter mix is forecast to hit the east-central part of Kansas which caused the six games in three-days classic to not take place.
The Lions (1-4) instead lead off against WSC on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm, followed by a matchup with the USF on Monday, Feb. 25 at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm inside the Pat Lipira Softball Complex.
They will also be hosting a doubleheader on Sunday between USF and Missouri Western set for 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm upon completion of the games earlier in the day.
