All regularly scheduled athletic events taking place on the campus of Missouri Southern State University are still planned to go on like normal today despite the weather that has hit the Joplin area.
Classes at Missouri Southern were dismissed today for the weather but the events scheduled at MSSU for the Athletic Department will still go on.
At 1 pm, there will be a press conference in the Alumni Room of the North Endzone Facility to discuss the Southern Football Signing Day. At 4:30 pm, fans are still invited to Gusanos for a meet and greet with the coaches.
The Southern basketball games tonight between the Lions and Nebraska-Kearney will go on as planned, as well. Tip off between the Lions and the Lopers is slated for 5:30 pm for the women and 7:30 pm for the men.
