The 14th ranked Missouri Southern men's track and field team will head to Warrensburg this weekend to compete in the 2015 MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Central Missouri at the Multipurpose Building.
The Lions are ranked 7th in the Central Region and 14th nationally coming into the event. Southern has ten provisional marks this year led by senior sprinter Jeff Fraley.
Fraley ranks 3rd nationally in the 60m and has an automatic qualifying mark in that category. He also ranks fourth in the 200m and 6th in the 400m. He is the top MIAA athlete in all three events.
Darion Boure ranks third in the nation in the triple jump and tops in the MIAA, while Kennan Harrison ranks 13th in the event and second in the MIAA.
Morgan Hold ranks 22nd in the pole vault nationally and sixth in the MIAA, while Brady Melugin is 34th nationally and 9th in the league.
Erron Holley ranks 24th in the 200m nationally, while the mile relay team of Fraley, Holley, Thomas Hawkins andAnthony Price rank 35th nationally and third in the conference.
Bryan Burns ranks 33rd nationally in the weight throw and fourth in the MIAA.
Action begins tomorrow with the heptathlon and the pentathlon while field and track events begin on Saturday. The meet concludes Sunday afternoon.
