The Missouri Southern men's and women's track and field team sent a group of jumpers Saturday to compete at the Arkansas Open.
On the women's side, Kaylee Morgan was third in the long jump with a provisional distance of 18-08, while Brittani Reagan leaped to a provisional distance of 18-05.25 to finish fourth.
On the men's side, Desmond Williams finished seventh in the long jump with a distance of 22-10.50, while Jacob Rowe was eighth in a distance of 22-00.75.
Both the men's and women's teams will be back in action next week as the Lions will compete in the 2015 MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. The meet will be hosted by Central Missouri on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
