Joplin, Mo. -- The Missouri Southern department of athletics, along with the MSSU Alumni Association, will provide a sendoff celebration for the Missouri Southern men's basketball team this Thursday night in Kansas City prior to the team's game.
There will be food available beginning at 6 pm in the lobby of the downtown Kansas City Marriott, the host hotel for the tournament. Fans can gather where there will be pom pons and beads handed out by the Alumni Association and you can help send off the men as they head across the street for their game at 6:45 pm.
