Reports out of Philadelphia indicate that former East Newton and Missouri Southern State University standout Allen Barbre will remain with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles allowed Barbre, 33, to seek a trade since he may not have a starting position next season, but after checking his options, he appears set to remain in Philadelphia:
Barbre is slated to earn $2.25 million in 2017, which is a good number even if the Eagles plan for him to be the sixth man off the bench. If center Jason Kelce were to be traded and Isaac Seumalo was to replace him, Barbre could slide back into the starting left guard spot.
