The Athletic Departments at both Missouri Southern State University and Missouri Western State University have announced a time change for the Lion's football game in St. Joseph on November 14 this year.
Originally slated for a 1 pm start, the game will now begin at 11 am on that Saturday. Due to construction at Spratt Stadium, and the lack of stadium lights, the move to earlier in the day is necessary just in case daylight becomes an issue.
Last year, the Lions and Griffons played to a 22-21 finish where Western scored the game-winner inside of three minutes.
