(From MSSU Lions Athletic News)
The Missouri Southern Lions Head Soccer Coach Alese Woolard announced today the rescheduling of the match against Washburn.
The Lions' and Washburn's match from Thursday night which was called due to weather has been rescheduled for Monday October 19th at 7 p.m. The game will be restarted from the opening kickoff since the match did not meet the 70 minutes of play mark to be a completed match.
With the last lightning strike coming at 9:31 pm the match was called and ruled a no contest. The NCAA rule 7.5 states "If the conditions leading to a suspended game persist and the game is not resumed the same day, the game shall be considered 'no contest' if it has not progressed to 70 minutes. A 'no contest' does not count, and all normal statistics are nullified".
