The Missouri Southern men's and women's basketball programs will play host to MOSO Madness this Tuesday, October 20 at 7 pm inside the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.
Formerly known as Meet the Lions, the event has been re-branded this year and will have many similarities with its predecessor, as well as some new wrinkles to throw out.
The event will take place at 7 pm on October 20. Admission is free and there will be free hot dogs and drinks, as well as free posters, autograph sessions and plenty of entertainment.
Both teams will have their standard 20-minute scrimmages, but there will also be some new additions this year. There will be a three-point contest between men's head coach Jeff Boschee and Lions' senior Austin Wright, while women's seniors Tami Morice and and Sharese Jones will take on freshmen Desirea Buerge and Chelsey Henry.
There will also be a celebrity game that will feature current MSSU Administrators and Coaches battling one another on the court. Fans will also be able to pick up their season tickets at the event.
While each team is scrimmaging, fans are welcome to get the other team's autographs on free MOSO posters that will be provided at the entry.
