The Missouri Southern football team had 11 members named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll as announced by the league office today.
Junior running back Giresse Forchu was also named a MIAA Scholar Athlete, as well. To be eligible for the honor roll, a student athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0 and have at least two terms of attendance at the school. To be named a scholar athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum of a 3.5 GPA and be named All-MIAA athletically. Forchu carries a 3.86 GPA in biology.
Players named to the Academic Honor Roll were: Caleb Domingue, Will Flores, Giresse Forchu, Marcos Guiterres, Austin Minor, Michael Nelson, Ricky Nicholls, Seth Peterson, Ryon Phillips, Justin Tomlinson and Austin Wolfe.
