Missouri’s spring turkey season offers great opportunities to get outside, but the pastime presents challenges, too.
Knowing how to locate a gobbler, calling him into shotgun range, and handling firearms in a safe fashion are all parts of a successful and safe hunt.
Hunters can learn more about the fundamentals of this popular spring pastime at the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) clinic “Learning to Hunt: Turkey Hunting for Beginners” on March 14 at MDC’s Andy Dalton Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center.
