Pittsburg State University senior guard Hadyn Herlocker earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors today (Feb. 9). Herlocker is now eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.
The Girard, Kan., native has a perfect 4.00 GPA as a psychlogy major. Herlocker has started all 23 games for the 10th ranked Gorillas, helping the team to a 20-3 overall record. She has averaged 8.0 points and 5.9 assists per game, leading the MIAA and ranking 13th in NCAA Division II in assists.
The Gorillas lead the MIAA with a 12-2 conference mark after Pitt State knocked off 15th-ranked Central Missouri, 68-60, Wednesday (Feb. 8) at John Lance Arena. Pitt State will travel to Bolivar, Mo., to face Southwest Baptist at 1:30 p.m. (CST) Saturday (Feb. 11).
