Nominations being accepted for Webb City Athletic Hall of Fame

The Webb City R-7 Schools, in cooperation with the Webb City R-7 Schools Foundation, is accepting nominations for the Athletic Hall of Fame.

The nomination packets are available at the Districts’ Central Office, 411 N. Madison, Webb City, MO 64870 or online at the Districts’ website, www.wcr7.org under Programs.

The individuals and teams will be chosen by a selection committee composed of district and high school administrators, district staff, coaches and retired administrators.

Nominations will be accepted through March 15, 2017. The Athletic Hall of Fame was established to commemorate a legacy of exceptional athletic performance and accomplishments, and will provide an avenue to pay tribute to those individuals and teams who have shaped Webb City’s athletic history.

Any former Webb City student athlete, living or deceased who excelled athletically is eligible for Hall of Fame consideration 20 years after his/her high school athletic career.

In addition, former coaches, managers, trainers, etc. who made significant contributions to Webb City athletics are also eligible for consideration.

Any person may recommend any eligible individual for consideration as a nominee. Recommendations should be accompanied by information regarding the achievements of the individual being recommended.
