When the Missouri Southern football team plays host to Pittsburg State on November 1 in the State Farm Miners Bowl the game will be a 'Gold Out' the athletic department has announced.
The Lions football team will be wearing the same gold/gold combo uniforms they wore last season at Pittsburg and there will be many promotions that will coincide with the game.
The first 2,000 fans through the gates at Fred G. Hughes Stadium will receive gold thundersticks as they enter the stadium. The Missouri Southern Bookstore will be offering special gold t-shirts at prices of $6.99 for short sleeved and $9.99 for long sleeved. Also, any gold shirt in the bookstore will be 20 percent off regular price.
Fans are encouraged to dress in gold and make this a true 'Gold Out' experience.
