The Missouri Southern men's and women's cross country teams will open up the 2015 season tomorrow as the teams travel to Bolivar to compete in the Southwest Baptist Invitational held at Bolivar Municipal Golf Course.
The Lions' women were picked atop the MIAA in the preseason coaches poll, tied with Southwest Baptist. Southern is ranked sixth in the preseason NCAA Division II Central Region poll and is one of four teams from the MIAA ranked in the region and are the defending MIAA Champions.
The men were picked to finish third in the MIAA preseason coaches poll. They are the defending MIAA Champions and finished third in the Central Region Meet last year.
The women's race begins at 9:30 am with the men kicking off at 10:05 am.
