MSSU Athletic Department unveils new website

The Missouri Southern Athletic Department unveiled the newly re-designed www.mssulions.com today. The site is a collaboration between the MSSU Atheltic Media Relations Department and SIDEARM Sports.

The new site was launched on September 1 and features a complete overhaul of the former site and a fresh new design. The main page will feature stories, videos, social media, upcoming/recent events and results, photo galleries and an athlete of the week section.

Each individual sport section will also have the ability to have its own video and photo gallery section specific to their sport, as well as sections for rosters, results, schedules, records and coaches information. Fans will also get a chance to vote on a different fan poll each week and they can see both the facebook an twitter portals on the main page.

The switch also means that SIDEARM Sports now has every school in the MIAA, as well as the conference office as clients.

"The switch to SIDEARM Sports was something that our department had been looking into for some time," said Athletic Media Relations Director Justin Maskus. "I have heard nothing but positive things about the staff at SIDEARM and in the past four months that we've been doing the re-design, I've personally witnessed their top knotch service. We look forward to many good years to come."

SIDEARM Sports provides the software and technology that powers the websites, livestats, and video streaming for colleges, universities and high schools across North America. We work with NCAA DI, DII, DIII plus NAIA, NJCAA, NCCAA and CIS programs - no program is too large or too small for the SIDEARM software. The company is based out of Syracuse, NY.
