Missouri Southern junior golfer Ryan Buerk has been named the MIAA Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced today.
Buerk, a 6-0 native of Blue Springs, Mo., had the Lions top score on Monday after round one, and he turned in a 74 Tuesday after his 73 on Monday to finish tied for 10th at 147 and help the Lions to an 8th place finish at the Dave Falconer Memorial Classic hosted by Arkansas Tech University.
The Lions will take the week off for Spring Break, but will be back in action on March 24 and 25 competing at the Jim Bishop Spring Classic, hosted by University of North Alabama at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
